Not everything has to mean something

24-25 Dec: Family Christmas Staycay

This year my family did not have our inaugural christmas party on the eve. We traditionally have it every single year with our cousins but apparently it has become too much work so we opted for a quieter option. This does make me a little sad but I guess it's not really up to me; nevertheless, we did still have a... nice time overall.

First location of the day was Raffles Hotel for lunch.

My sister gave us a treat at this fancy yumcha place.

I'm not a particularly fancy kind of person (mainly because I can't afford it lol) but I certainly appreciate being pampered once in a while :3

Onwards to the hotel room we booked, unfortunately I've already forgotten what the hotel is called but it was the one opposite CHIJMES and Cityhall, hehe. The toilet was my favourite because it was full marble <3_<3

The room itself was nice, nothing to rave about though apart from the lovely natural lighting.

Beautiful kinfolk-esque presents from my baby cousin.

We were given some kind of platinum room which gave us access to the lounge with food.

This was basically my dinner, the food wasn't too shabby at all despite this rather lacklustre representation.

Time to open presents!

I love relaxing baths, hehe.

Happy to be surrounded with lovely marble and bubbly (both from the bath & drinks).

Got dressed again and headed out to see my qt who was having some drinks nearby.

First time I won at Cards Against Humanity hehe.

Went back to crash.

Christmas Day date!

He brought me to a lovely place by boat quay for dinner.

I love soup.

He had the barramundi (if I don't recall wrongly) and i had turkey, both were amazing. Flavourful and did not taste oily.

Dessert!

We were actually kind of exhausted from the late night and early morning.

Caught sight of xiao bitch on the way home but didn't spend too much time with her because well.. she hates us, lol. I love Christmas (:

20-23 Dec: Work Days

Random snippets from the week leading up to Christmas:

This is definitely back dated - the day we received our official BFF name cards. In present day, we will be doing our final presentation next week! Time flies.

Quick lunch because we were rushing off for a sponsor meeting (and the person in question was late, a major flake, and everything fell through lol).

Christmas Party 2015

Christmas is my favourite part of the year. Apart from celebrating Christ's birth, it means the end of the school/work year and loads of meetups/catch ups which is absolutely lovely. It's a really awesome time to be able to reconnect and appreciate the people around you. I was glad to be able to organise a couple of Christmas gatherings and this was one of my favourite though a couple of key people were not around. Just writing this makes me feel a little sad because I won't be in town this year (2016) for Christmas. Still, we had a splendid one last year:
