11th April: Swan Valley x IKEA

Breakfast with my lover <3

With our sweet little baby.

Ready to head out to Swan Valley!

This lucky little boy got to go out so much!

First stop: Sandalford Wines.

They had a super fancy restaurant (both in and outdoors), but we got there early so did not try the food.

Did plenty of wine tasting though! They charge a small fee per person for the tasting, but waive it off if you buy at least one bottle (: They also have a discount if you buy 6 bottles or more. The bottles are not expensive (between $12-$30, but there are more expensive ones too) and of good quality.

Taking the doge out to poop.

Crew for the day!

Margaret River Chocolate! Free chocolate samples here hehe, makes for good gifts too.

Providore! Which is right next door.

I love this.

Stopped by Yahava to have lunch!

It was incredibly hot for autumn.

Peeked into Yahava even though we didn't get any coffee.

Cheese Barrel time!

Tasting times.

So happy :')

Not sure where he was going.

Qt.

Got spied on.

Got spied on again when we took Tofu down to pee, haha.

Honey time!

My qt loves honey, but I think he's sweeter.

Trying out mead!

Icecream with honeycomb inside, it was pretty freaking amazing.

Nougart stop!

Made it just in time to do a quick tasting at Ugly Duckling. They closed at 4, but told us that we were welcomed to hang out and just leave the glasses behind the counter when we were done. It was very lovely to sit there enjoying the nice weather.

We got a sweet wine which I love.

A friendly little baby came over to say hi!

She was very popular.

She kept barking at Tofu excitedly haha.

Goodbye little sweetheart.

IKEA for dinner!

Little dude was so tired and in deep sleep. Unfortunately, someone told on us and we were asked to leave Ikea even though he was quietly sleeping in his bag and not bothering anyone ):

Sam and I went outside to wait for the rest and Tofu met a baby!

Finally ending the day with a quick grocery and drinks run, we were all so pooped.

I rushed to set up my laptop because I had my Skype tuition, while Sam went to put away the groceries.

We got a little peckish so we made us a snack.

Love got this for me even though it was pretty pricey for jam/sauce (:

10th April: Picnic x Blue Boat House x Red Basil

In the middle of the first semester, we had a special two week break from school. Typically, we would get two 1 week breaks in the semester, but it seems that there was some kind of combination of PHs that gave us the special 2 weeks. Sam came down to Perth for about 10 days to hang out and I was so so happy!

He was supposed to arrive around 5pm and we were going to have dinner and chill the night away before the busy day ahead, but his flight got delayed SEVEN HOURS. We were both so bummed out because he ended up only arriving in WA at 1am. The extra 7 hour wait really bummed me out but it was amazing to see him again even though I was super sleepy by the time he got to my place around 2am.

Woke up bright and early to take our little one to the park for a picnic!

We always overestimate how much we can eat. We did not touch the chips at all, and had to force ourselves to finish the sushi and chick&chips.

<3

Best feeling to be back together again (:

I love seeing my boys together :')

First time so far away from home!

He had so much fun trying to eat everything (and I had so much fun trying to pull everything out of his mouth).

To the Blue Boat House! Just so that we could take loads of pics hehe.

My hair wasn't really being good that day but I couldn't miss the chance to take as many pictures as possible anyway.

Got a kind couple to take this shot for us, thankfully they were amazing photographers (another couple took a pic for us earlier but cut off the roof of the boat house.... lol).

Not unlike Sam who also took these cut off shots of Tofu and I... lol.

The breeze was very lovely and it was quite tranquil (at the beginning) so we just stayed there to hang out.

Tofu fell asleep, silly puppy.

When we got up to leave, Sam realised that he couldn't find his phone and.... it was in the water below... We didnt know how long it had been in there but I went in to get it and it was surprisingly still working! We riced it for 3 days and it worked fine but it died about 3-4 weeks after. Still, considering it was submerged for possibly more than 10 minutes, I'd say that's not bad.

We ubered home and the two boys took naps. Finally managed to drag this one out to dinner.

Red Basil! I was so happy! We were crazy hungry and over ordered as usual but everything tasted amazing.

Missed spending time doing simple things with this sweet boy :')
