I do not require attention or recognition from the masses.
I crave love, attention, affection, from the few special ones.
(I don't know if this makes me difficult to love)
I am tough, hardheaded, strong.
I am emotional, easy to sway, soft.
I am critical and cynical.
I am a romantic.
I am practical, pragmatic, realistic.
I am optimistic.
I am able to admit that I am wrong. I find it difficult to swallow my pride. I am willing to take a step back for harmony. I stand up for myself. I believe in second chances. I believe that some people have to be taught a lesson. I am friendly and enthusiastic almost to a fault. I am morose and cold.
I am I am I am.

14th - 18th September: Work x School Days
More backdated posts in effort to catch up with life. Work week updates:
Spend most of my time in school at this building with the strange hieroglyphics-like prints on the walls.
Luckily it's usually with this girl :3
This was quite a terrible day if my memory serves me well. Cafe's kitchen was closed, starved for hours before getting YTF, only to realise that it sucked shit. The picture serves as evidence to the sad excuse for food.
It was a pretty shitty day, I had to rush off to work after this.
Met the boy for dinner and had a nice time though :')
Thursday with these babies, engrossed in story time.
Cute little munchkin.
Impromptu metope with the qt who was near the school I was working at.
He was laughing at the props I made for my little kids for their performance, lol.
For the record I think they're gonna look adorable in them :3
Foster's teatime set is really good and affordable! About $11++ for 3 scones and a fruitcake or something (clearly I didn't pay too much attention to what it included, but I remember it was cheap, hehe).
Yay for Friiiiiday! I went for my volunteering session in the morning which went pretty well.
Then to Breko to meet Mel for brunch! I love this place (:
Their truffle fries are AMAZING.
Such a qt.
I tried their mac and cheese which was pretty amazing but way too much for one person. In fact, we couldn't finish anything that we ordered which was a pity. The prices are pretty competitive too, compared to other cafes, between $9-$15 for brunch options!
Adjourned to her place to hang out and to get some work done.
And to snuggle my darling Waffle too hehe.
Such a sweetie.
Headed back to Holland Village to have dinner and drinks with some chums. Favourite margarita pitcher, hehe.
Look who came along!
The food was a little pricey but it tasted gooooood. I was feeling pretty unwell because the haze was quite bad + we were surrounded by cigarette smoke (literally sitting in the midst of fumes lol), I felt better every time I walked away for fresh air but the last time I returned... My vision turned blotchy and my ears started ringing crazily, I kind of passed out a little. Thankfully my friends swept me away and after I got some fresh air I was okay. It was pretty embarrassing though because it was only around 10pm and I was drenched in cold sweat with my head down at the side of the road... People thought I was drunk. Lol what an exciting young life I have.
Contagious
I've always been sensitive to words. When wielded by the right person, they can be far reaching, tantalising, effecting. Words are so important to me - that is why I can get hurt when you use them in a cavalier manner; but used the right way, it is also how I can be appeased in a second.
Very few people are talented in this manner, and as much as I would like to believe that I am one of the fortunate few, I know that I am not. Still, I am thankful to have a predisposed sensitivity to the craft, I am thankful to be able to be moved by it.
I am lucky, I suppose.

13th September: Sunday Vibes
This week we woke up late and couldn't make it to our parish so we attended mass at a church near our home. It was a pretty peaceful and uneventful day:
Lunch at the coffee shop in Jurong where we accompanied mum who wanted to run a couple of errands.
It was a terribly hot day so I came home and dug into some iceeeeeeeecream. Spent the day doing some work in bed because... well I just didn't feel like getting out of it lol.
Girls night out with my sister and mum.
Japanese food for dinner first!
We went to catch a U.N.C.L.E. Flashing my passion card entitled us to a huge bowl of popcorn, I was impressed.
Clearly excited, hehehe. We didn't even finish half of all that though, it was certainly way too big.
Snuggle times.

Museum Hopping
On the second week of September, we went to the new LKC Museum of Natural History with the boy's family, which mainly included his cute nephew and niece.
I woke up bright and early to meet him for brunch but was horrified to realise that I had a terribly swollen left eye. It was so bad that I literally did not know what to do, after icing it for about half an hour, I strapped on my shoes and made my way out.
At my favourite cafe, Park! Their breakfast is pretty value for money; two muffins, two eggs benedict, salmon, bacon, salad, cherry tomatoes, and a hashbrown! Sam added the pancake for $3 because he had a craving. It was so good.
By the time we started making our way to the museum, the swelling in my eye had gone down but it was still pretty insane looking - as the picture shows.
Little Kira, she's so adorable :3
Guess cuteness runs in the family, hehe.
Poor Tigger.
This dude doesn't even like kids very much, so it was mad adorable to see him with them, hahahaha.
The museum was really well done, probably loads of investments put into it.
I was so taken by them :')
Imitating the tiger's roar.
After this we said goodbye to them as they went off for lunch.
The boy brought me to another museum in NUS, I forgot the name but it seemed pretty mixed - contemporary and classical stuff.
Collection of china and porcelain, I love them.
We ended up having a half an hour break in between the main gallery and the one on the upper floor because we were so exhausted.
Contemporary art really interests me a lot more.
Hung out on the school premises because it was nice and quiet.
Visited their 7eleven and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY. Look at that variety, I nearly cried. The Cheers we have at NTU is PATHETICCCCC compared to this holy ground.
This is only half of the drinks available, ugh I was dying of jealousy.
The pizza took the cake. THEY HAVE PIZZA AND IT ONLY COST ME $6, HELP, NUS HAS SUCH GREAT WELFARE I AM SO JEALOUS I WANNA DIE.
Okay goodnight.
