“Your heart is like a great river after a long spell of rain, spilling over its banks. All signposts that once stood on the ground are gone, inundated and carried away by that rush of water. And still the rain beats down on the surface of the river. Every time you see a flood like that on the news you tell yourself: That’s it. That’s my heart.”

6th - 10th September 2018: Work x Errands x Park
Off to drop him at Yesenia's to play with Luna while we both go attend a PD on reading comprehension.
Someone brought their doge to the PD! Wish we could've brought ours.
Boy was really exhausted from playing with Luna all night.
Went to pick this girl up from her school after I got off prac because her mum was ill. She's so fun (:
Park time for doge
Weekend routine, work first.
And then lunch and netflix.
With these two little buggers hanging out while we plod away.
Their lives are pretty good.
Dropped Tofu off at home to go babysit this little man.
Morning?
Henry and I finally got down to trying out our random-anyhow-chwee kueh recipe
It wasn't amazing but I'd say it was pretty good considering we only had 3/6 of the ingredients required lol.
Tofu wasn't impressed because he couldn't have any.
Got our Nina Ana some flowers.
Ah this beautiful lady who nourished me :')
This was sooooooo yummy.
My sweethearts
Bless

1st - 4th September 2018: Work & Play
Tutoring this sweet boy on a Saturday morning.
And then weekend routine of heading to Yesenia's house to work on our research and/or clinical stuff.
Dinner made by nina Ana (:
Bed time at Yes's place.
She's so in love with Tofu :')
Supposed work/studying day at Qin's but we got real distracted.
He was staring at himself hahaha.
Gosh dude.
Prepping for Caleb's birthday surprise.
Yay!
Taking care of my Korean girls, and then came home to...
A naughty puppy who ripped up a plastic bag.
It poured during his agility class.
But we still made a round to surprise his second mum for her birthday!
No wonder this doge is exhausted.
Silent marching
"So that's how we live our lives. No matter how deep and fatal the loss, no matter how important the thing that's stolen from us--that's snatched right out of our hands--even if we are left completely changed, with only the outer layer of skin from before, we continue to play out our lives this way, in silence. We draw ever nearer to the end of our allotted span of time, bidding it farewell as it trails off behind. Repeating, often adroitly, the endless deeds of the everyday. Leaving behind a feeling of immeasurable emptiness.”

26th - 31st August 2018: Smattering of work days at home & friends
After my sister left, I had quite an uneventful couple of weeks. Mostly just working from home and spending time with a sleepy puppet.
Ditto
Package from my bestie :D
So many snackies!
Lovingly prepared and packaged for me to bring home by my nina Ana who was always fretting about my nutritional needs :')
Study date!
Off to meet the rest of the gang for dinner.
KBBQ is a super popular choice, especially with the cool weather.
Dessert! Wasn't super impressed by this but the chocolate was pretty good.
I miss living alone with my little baby.
Deshedding is tiring.
