Tofu woke up the next day looking a little better but on closer inspection...
It was still pretty bad ): I still had to go in to work so I dropped him off at Annie's place and she agreed to send him to the vet in the afternoon.
Unfortunately our local vet was very alarmed by what she saw - which was that Tofu's left eye was not responding at all to any of the stimulation tests she did for him. She called me up at work and thankfully my supervisor cleared me to leave for a short while to bring Tofu to the eye specialist - which was thankfully near to my place/work. I was really thankful for Annie who brought Tofu to meet me there so that we could make the appointment, because the next available date was a month away!
A very good boy. Thankfully, he was not blind in one eye - he had a massive blood clot which was obscuring his view which was why he had no response to stimulation.
Such a brave beautiful boy :') Till this day I'm still unsure if someone had purposefully hurt him but I really hope that's not the case. He's still very loving and trusting <3
Quick lunch in my car with my sweetest Annie before I headed back into work.
Grumpy floor awaking.
He had to take eye drops 5 times a day so I dropped him off at Annie's every morning before work. It was tiring for me but I was so grateful that I even had the option of dropping him off to someone I trusted <3
Sweet Riceball was so loving and caring. He's usually loud with Tofu and they can be rough playing with each other, but Annie said that he could tell that Tofu was unwell and was rather quiet and subdued. Whenever he heard Tofu whine, he would rush to his side and give him licks :')
God bless this beautiful soul <3
One night after work I took him to visit Cooper and Charlie!
And we had some dinner at Waterford :3
Love these two so much!
Poor baby.
