Here is nothing

No drip from the tap falling
and at every window curtains
waiting for a breeze.

This kind of silence blooms so big
that all there is to do is find a space to be
inside yourself.

Listen to the quiet tap. Those blank panes.
Listen to the green chair quiet
and unfilled and shocking.

Here is nothing. You let the dusk
happen. You can’t see to move.

Fire

Years burn holes
into clothes, branding
age-spots into skin,
licking skeletal tinder.
Even minds catch
slowly, reduced to less
than air. All of us
eaten by flames
invisible to the naked eye
that melts
faster than butter
at the crematorium.
Then beyond us, time
ignites the horizon,
sky charred to ever-
lasting ash, sparks
of our expired passions
frozen into stars.

Photo Update: 25th-27th January

On the first weekend of the semester, I was invited to join a crabbing event. It was a really hot day and the bus service is reduced on weekends so I was really reluctant to get my ass moving, but I did it anyway!

No regrets because it was a lot of fun!

A large majority of the crabs we caught were not of the approved size for bringing home though ):

"There's a crab there!"

Very proud!

This crab was blue and sooooo pretty, but we had to throw it back in because it was just shy of the approved size.

Guardian of the caught crabs (lol 1)

Beautiful sunset

Coming home to roost.

Closed eyes selfie inspired by Caleb.

Awesome food prepared for us by Zion church (:

Of the 40 people that were there on the day, only 4 crabs were caught between them hahaha.

 No regrets going (:

First Sunday morning mass at the local parish which is literally a 2-3 mins walk from my house.

Lunch for the lazy

Not too shabby I think.

Jon took me out to get puppy supplies and we saw this cool doggo, his owner was also laughing hahaha.

Breeder sent a pic of bath time!

Supplies for my sweetie :')

Jon cooked a crab he caught, it was good.

I tried to make a quesadilla but it was... not very successful.

Can't believe Tofu used to be so tiny!

Tiny polar bears :')

Cool doggo.

Hanging with ma frans before bed.
