The Doggies of Brighton Crescent

My friend Nat fractured her ankle so one afternoon, Sam and I decided to go visit her at her home where she was stuck at. It's extremely far for me but it's always great because she has the cutest puppies, hehe.

Met up in town first to run a couple of errands!

Had a major craving for this amaaaaazing chicken rice, it did not disappoint as usual. I'm getting a craving just looking at it man.

Drinks in hand, we set off to her place!

Received a warm welcome.

I wish you were mine :')

What I'd do to come home to these babies everyday :')

My boy the dog whisperer :')

I wuv you so much.

Look at that baby's face.

Written on the Body

"Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. What then kills love? Only this: Neglect. Not to see you when you stand before me. Not to think of you in the little things. Not to make the road wide for you, the table spread for you. To choose you out of habit not desire, to pass the flower seller without a thought. To leave the dishes unwashed, the bed unmade, to ignore you in the mornings, make use of you at night. To crave another while pecking your cheek. To say your name without hearing it, to assume it is mine to call."

3rd - 4th Sept: Korean Invasion

So I was really excited when our Korean friend, Do-Yeun, told me that she was coming to Singapore for a couple of days! She had an unexpected break from work and decided to come check out our little island. Even though it was pretty last minute, I managed to round up our friends and we had a pretty nice time together :3

Had a terribly long day packed with work and school, the two of us still dragged our asses down for yoga though. I'm glad we did, hehe.

Rushed home to shower and then headed out to pick my unnie up from Gardens by the Bay. We took her to the famous Founder's BKT for supper.

This is by far my favourite place for BKT, it tasted especially good because it was already around 11pm and I hadn't had dinner.

She gave me these delicious bottles of citrus soju which I absolutely love.

On Friday night we brought her to Chomp Chomps to try more local food.

I think we were all rather pleased by this visit, hehe.

Walking off our full tummies!

Didn't take us too long to adjourn at a dessert place! I forgot what was the name of this place, but it's at Serangoon Gardens and looked really popular. We left around 9.30pm and there was a huge snaking queue!

Mango Sago & Durian Paste

Tasting in progress

Hahaha qtpai, she wasn't totally repulsed by the durian but described it as a strange sweet taste.

Hahahhaha Sean capturing what girls do best.

And here's the only pic I have of him, hahaha. It was such a lovely night catching up with friends :3

1st - 2nd September: School Daze

I want to say something lame like "School aint so bad when you have friends", I really do love school so.... It ain't bad at all :3

Though okay, mornings can kinda suck.

Okay another thing that sucks: Canteen B

Friends who get you though, those are the best :')

Lunch time with Hazel! But we didn't take a pic together ):

Happy girls after getting off our shift!

My babies doing some colouring, lol.

It was teacher's day so we took a photograph! This is my smallest class, 2 kids are missing from this picture though.

Biggest class, bunch of cheeky kids but they're lovable of course.

Handed over these munchkins to a new teacher, they're by far the most challenging class I've ever taken but it was a really good experience.

They kinda suck the life outta me, but I still love them, lol.

Dinner time with the boy, porridge because he was a sick little birdie.

Tried the Acai Bowl in bid of approaching a healthy lifestyle (lol I kid), it tasted alright but I'm not too sure if I like it enough to have it again.

Cat feeding at Holland V, just like the old days (:

Such a sweetie.
