Enough

“If there's one thing I've learned, it's this: We all want everything to be okay. We don't even wish so much for fantastic or marvelous or outstanding. We will happily settle for okay, because most of the time, okay is enough.”

― David Levithan, Every Day

1st - 2nd June 2019: Weekend Walks

Coming home to a baby seal.

Happy morning!

Checking out grandmami and grandpapi's holiday loot.

Catching up on pats.

What are we going to do today?

Where are we headed??

Walkie or carry??

A long walkie?

We decided to take a trail from Bukit Panjang to Bukit Timah. But just getting to the beginning of the trail was a good 25 minute walk in the afternoon heat.

The initial 25 minutes already killed us, it was SO HOT.

Took a little rest first.

Finally 10 minutes into the actual trail lol.

Tofu started slowing down and walking behind us, probably due to the heat.

"Mum, help." We had to cut short the walk before we even got to Hillview because it was crazy hot and the mosquitos were acting us in earnest. So we turned around and noped out of it.

Another break when we got back to civilisation.

SO HOT.

So happy to be carried and not walking haha.

Dad telling Tofu that there's no more durian haha.

Mahjong time after a nap for these two boys.

Don't think Tofu is very interested though.

Change

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”

27th - 30th May 2019

The sad day my earphones got eaten up by the laminator...

Walkie time!

Watching a bunch of ladies work out.

Probably judging me for not working out haha.

Met a new friend!

First Aid training at work haha.

Hahaha we had lots of practice.

Love you too much <3

My baby niece was born <3

Busy bf squeezed in a dinner date.

We had fancy chinese food which was actually pretty good.

And he got me dessert hehe.

KBBQ to catch up with ladies <3

So goo to catch up after all this time!

Live

“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.”

― Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

So much joy!

Pampered life.

Happy celebration for the May babies.

Tea time after.

Puppy so tired after an entire evening of fun.
