2212

It's 2212 on 28072017. The room is quiet. Outside, it's 12 degrees and the wind is howling. I can hear the swoosh of passing traffic outside my window. Beside me on the floor, my puppy lays snoring. My immediate world is at peace; how lucky I am.

And yet I wonder if I'll ever stop aching for the strangest things.

4th - 5th July 2017: Elizabeth Quay x Byebye

Breakfast cooked by my Samsam. 

We spent most of the day resting.

Out for an evening walk at Elizabeth Quay. 

Naughty boy chewed on his socks on the first day wearing them out!

More confident about going down stairs now! 

We took a long time to get there due to some wrong turns and difficulty in finding parking so the sun had already set, but it was still a lovely walk. 

Back home, last night with his daddy :')

I was just as reluctant as Tofu. 

Hahaha this app is too fun. 

Last breakfast with the crew before they leave in the evening. 

I cut the cucumbers hahaha. 

Yassss. 

Cashing in some cuddles before I lose them for the next couple of months again.

Then we went home to a Tofu in distress because he got hurt and it was all crazy and hectic but we got him to the vet. 

What was supposed to be a clean up + leisurely rest day before airport became soooo stressful. 

We managed to get our shizzle on time though. But Tofu was feeling really bad, and continued to for the next couple of days ): 

I was so sad to see Sam go and this boy was just totally out of it with his injuries and what not. Goodbye always sucks ):

3rd July: Margaret River

Another road trip! 

This time he was less whiney, and generally a really good boy. 

Trying to include Tofu in the picture can be difficult at times. 

The only good thing about rain is that we get to see more rainbows (:

We had snippets of good weather. 

Driving up to Cape Leeuwin. 

We were so fortunate that there was a break from the rain and the skies were beautiful! 

Yay!

Tofu was so restless and annoyed because dogs aren't allowed out there.

It was CRAZY WINDY. 

Hahaha. 

What am I....

We had originally intended to have lunch and some snacks at the lighthouse but the wind was waaaay too strong so we decided to go to the cafe instead. 

Next stop: Voyager Estate. 

It was huge and beautiful. 

Definitely the fanciest winery I've been to. 

Their grounds were huge. 

 Their toilet is nicer than my bedroom lolol.

We saw yet another rainbow while on our way to our last stop!

Pupper had a nice time on the lawn. 

Finally driving back to Perth.

We were so tired we just had takeaway for dinner, and it was loveeeely (:
