BFF Focus Group 13th-14th November

So for the past couple of months, my FYP group has been working on a campaign called the Breast-Feeding Friends (BFF) which seeks to create a more inclusive and supportive public environment for nursing mothers in Singapore. It is due to be launched in the first week of January and the 4 of us have been working really hard at ensuring that it will be a success. Much still remains to be seen if there will be fruits from our labour, but I'd like to think that we've been doing well thus far.

On the second weekend of November, we held focus groups with a number of nursing mums. At this point, I had completely lost my voice and could not for the life of me make a single utterance. It was a great pity because I was looking forward to getting to know the mums better through the discussions but that aside, the sessions were still a success. We learnt so much and received a lot of insight to move forward:

We had an insane amount of stuff to bring to our focus group location between 3 of us, so by the time we arrived, we were exhausted. Dim sum plans were put into place.

Posing with the selection which looked amazing but was really kind of lacklustre and overpriced.

Moved everything into the rooms after eating, this was perhaps only half of our stuff, haha.

Really thankful for our sponsors who very kindly provided items for our goodie bags!

All set for the focus group!

Lactation cookies in their adorable packaging for the participating mummies, also sponsored.

I'm not too sure how sensitive the mummies are about photo taking so I'm only posting pics of baby Chase since his mummy is my friend.

We kinda had a ball with all the kids, hehe.

Yummy mummy and her baby.

Hahaha I love his little baby face.

Toys that we prepared for the older kids.

After 4 gruelling sessions, we were finally done! Yay!

The boy came to pick me up after our last session to have sushi!

Haha trying out spectacles.
