#2taiwanmei Day II GoBar x Xin Dian x Shi Da Market

We only woke up just before noon due to our late first night at the KTV. That was just as well as our first plan was to visit a dog cafe in Xin Dian and it only opened at 12. It was a bit of a walk from the metro, and we bumped into this sweetie on the way there.

Arrived and the puppy love began!!

GoBar 狗吧寵物餐

Minimum cost per person: NT$200
新北市新店區環河路17號

Can you feel my excitement omg. This is Ah Dan, he was a lot more excite and affectionate when we first came & when we had food, hahaha.

This is Meimei, a really sweet old-ish goldie. She had a bit of a skin infection at this point.

But she was a happy trooper.

I forgot his name ahhhhh. But he was the most aloof and also the smartest doge there. He was rescued by one of the owners off the street and he knows many tricks hehe.

This is Pony, he was also rescued by the owner from an abusive ex-owner. He loves the ladies hehe.

Food first because we were starving! I have to say, I was not expecting them to have such excellent food! Most animal/themed cafes usually serve meh or subpar food but wow, not this place. The menu was in Mandarin so we asked for recommendations. I don't know what this is called but the owner simply said it was "beef pasta". The sauce was divine, the beef just tender and flavourful :')

We also got coffee, fruit tea, and a sandwich. Every item was amazing.

We stayed there for a good 3 hours, just chilling, chatting, and cuddling the puppies. It was really quiet and lovely (since it was a weekday).

Want to bring you homeeeee.

Sleepy Meimei

I love him :')

His dad went out to get something so he stood there staring until he came back, what a loyal little doge.

When we finally dragged ourselves away, we decided to check out the Xin Dian area and mount the apparently must-see bridge.

Pupper who sniffed at me for the longest time before erupting into a volley of borks.

After this we went to Shi Da Market for shopping! I really liked the stuff there, bonus points for shop dogs. This little weiner was really affectionate!

And a not so friendly cat haha.

Amazing bbq food! By the time we were done shopping, both of us were exhausted. So we quickly ordered some to bring home and eat.

Clean, happy, and could feel my cheeks expanding from all the food we ate.
