Started the day off happily with hello kitty socks that Sam got for me from Japan. Sadly though, they made my boots really tight and I didn't wise up until I was suffering from blisters. Thankfully, I was able to swap shoes with Yulin for relief after a bit!
We were at the Museum of Contemporary Art but had to have a quick sit down because of my feet + we were hungry.
Lovely museum cafe.
Unfortunately most of the exhibits didn't have English subtitles, but we got by with reading the Mandarin signs.

3D florwers! They were huge.
Hand spun dresses. The artwork are also spun from wire!
Not sure what this is but it was outside the museum and looked really great and cheery.
Next we went to Zoo Cafe! They're known to be a dog friendly place and serve excellent food as well. The lunch set is particularly worth it. The minimum order is at least one drink per person so you won't be breaking the bank if you want to share.

Love their adorable decor.
Lin clearly loves it too haha.
Two bunnies were there for a playdate and prospective... actual "date", haha.
We ordered the seafood risotto set which came with soup and a drink. The entire set was perfect.
Close up!
Also got this snack platter, the chicken wings were divine. I love the fries too but I wasn't a big fan of the sausages (Lin & Sin loved them though).
Adorable pupper.
Next stop for dessert was Long Time Ago Cafe! It was a 5-8 mins walk from Zoo Cafe!
No 9 Lane 21 An He Road Section 1 安和路1段21巷9号
We were already stuffed from lunch but couldn't resist getting these lamb themed drinks and dessert.
Adorable decor, what's new.
HHAAHA. Next stop, Shilin Night Market for more shopping!
Floof advertising doggie food.
We had to have the amazing seared beef again! This time we tried the teriyaki sauce which wasn't as nice as the Italian spices in my opinion.
Yumsssss.
The all famous fried chicken chop!
I'm ordinarily not a huge fan of this but I have to admit it did taste gooooood.
Sin! She was really great about bringing us around and she's so much fun :3
Loads of people on a Saturday.
Found the famous Ah Zhong Mian Xian!
I can't really appreciate Chinese food but the girls told me that it tasted amazing, hehe.
More shopping!
HAHAHAHAHA.
Tiny doge
Another tiny doge
Yet another tiny doge, ahhhh I'm in love.
Yulin's favourite grilled squid.
Spotted this happy baby as we were waiting for the squid.
Loads of novelty games similar to the ones at our pasar malam, except theirs looked a lot more fun and were a lot cheaper!
Didn't win anything though ):
TAIWAN SAUSAGESSSSSS.
Met a puppet who was advertising LED collars :')
He was the best spokesperson.
We decided to play the "mahjong" game!
But no we did not triumph hahaha.
We must've played 6-8 times to no avail lol.
Hi doge.
Ended the evening with a well deserved (lol) massage!
It was amazing :')
