First Update From Australia

I've been really terrible at updating this space and believe me, it's not for the lack of will to. I love looking back on the things I've done no matter how mundane they seem. It helps me to remember the small details that I may have forgotten and appreciate what I have/had. Of course in the recent years I've found it difficult to prioritise this "diary", but I have never once thought of abandoning it entirely so there's that.

To summarise what has been going on thus far:

• I've moved to Perth and have settled down pretty nicely in my new home and university.
• I live with my landlord Jon, and a couple Jessie & Lin. 
• I am getting a Japanese Spitz puppy, his name is Tofu and he comes home in 2 weeks (!!!!!!!!)
• Masters have been manageable at this point though at certain junctures I feel the crazy eyes coming out.

There's really a whole lot of other nitty gritty stuff that I've obviously failed to update about, seeing how I'm now back to being 3-4 months behind the pictorial updates. But I'll do my best to catch up so that I can update in real time soon. 

Overall, I've been enjoying postgrad life - it's been nice being independent and having time to myself. I've also met some wonderful people and for that I'm truly grateful. I think I'm acutely aware of how blessed I've been, and I never want to forget just how privileged I am.
