29th July 2017: Two Peoples Beach x Albany Wind Farm

We woke up bright and early at 6am to be able to set off for our drive to Albany at 7am! Tofu included :3

Lots of beautiful bushland (is this considered bushland??) and long never ending roads.

He got a bit annoyed at being inside for so long.

We were sure to take regular rest stops so that we could all stretch our legs.

Our first road trip together!

All three of us :3

We got matching glasses at Topshop the day before hehe.

After more than 5 hours, we finally sighted the Two Peoples Bay Beach.

Beautiful mountains and the sea.

Almost there!

Dogs aren't allowed there, I think because it's technically part of a national park. There are also signs every where that there are poisoned meat traps in the reserve to ward off pests. We kept Tofu in the bag.

The beach is beautiful.

Look at it!

We figured he would be safe here under our watchful eyes.

Wish it were warm enough for us to take a dip but it was insanely windy and chilly.

His phone bounced out of his pocket and into the water during this shot...

Lol Sam's finger...

Tofu and his reluctance to hang out in water haha.

<3

Saying goodbye to the beach.

Quick walk back to the car.

My man carrying the doge who is getting heavier every day, plus food supplies haha.

Drove another 40mins to the city to check into our accommodation. We booked it over Stayz.com. It was nice and cosy, dog friendly too! The house had 2 living areas, 2 bed rooms, a large kitchen and dinning area, as well as a laundry area and a huge backyard. I think it could've easily fit more than 10 people if it wasn't for the fact that they only had one bathroom.

Master bedroom where Sam's parents slept. All the beds (including ours) had electric blankets so we were toasty even though it was freaking cold in Albany.

The main living area with an amazing heater.

The bathroom.

Second living area plus play area on the right.

Sam clearing away from dubious looking bulbous items in the garden because we didn't want Tofu to eat whatever they were.

After a quick rest, we set off for the Albany Wind Farm.

Just a short 10-15mins drive!

It was quite a lovely walk/trail.

Celebrity.

Beautiful pink hues at sunset.

On our way to the city to takeaway some dinner because we were exhausted.

Expensive and extremely average Chinese food which we had no choice but to eat because we were too hungry. At least we brought our own wine though.

Doge exhausted from all the activities.

Goodnight!
