Glen who never wants to take pictures with me.
SL Train which we didn't take.
I love the trains because they're quite comfy and have charging points! Super loved by phone fanatics like myself because my phone is always out of battery, hahaha.
Traipsed around the train a little to explore!
The SJ train we took (:
"Silent Disco" for the little children! They wear headphones and dance!
Stockholm's Central Station
Church of St Clare, patron saint my baptism name is after!
Way more city-like in Stockholm, it was a refreshing change.
Caucasians cosplaying with Asian stuff, first time seeing this!
We found an all-in Asian buffet! Jap/Chinese/Mongolian! It was a pity we couldn't eat much though :S
Went for the yearly Super Market, Stockholm's Independent Art Fair!
My favourite exhibit. The artists went around France asking people different questions about love.
They transformed some of the transcripts into poetry and played it over the sound system in the caravan.
Each day there'd be a new question/discussion, some of the answers were absolutely beautiful.
They also gave out candy hearts :3
This was a call for action against climate change, pretty interesting stuff.
My second favourite, a series of brick work.
This came close as a second favourite. A box full of letters to Damascus, written by the artist for solace. It was quite a beautiful series of letters but the experience was somewhat spoilt because a very suspicious looking curator/artist told me in a rather nasty manner to "be careful" with the papers - well, that was uncalled for lady.
Contemporary artist whose name I've forgotten, but she uses daily items and mixes then in an unusual manner - pretty cool stuff as well.
We expected Stockholm to be much livelier than Uppsala since it's a proper city and it looked so bustling during the afternoon, but by 6pm, most of the shops were closed.
Found a ridiculously overpriced cafe (as with every other place in Sweden) to eat and rest.
Then we bought a ticket to explore the subway because we heard that Stockholm has amazing subway art. We couldn't complete the entire route because there wasn't enough time and we had to rush back to the station to catch our train back to Uppsala (which we ended up missing as well, lol).
Interior is super clean!
And that's the last of it! I really hope we can complete the subway-art-route one day! Stockholm was beautiful :3
