July Story 1st - 3rd

Here's what I was up to on the first 3 days of July: Work & chill. It has been pretty awesome I must say. This is the first summer holiday (or any holiday really) that I'm not busting my ass at work. I've been teaching and relief teaching, which takes up about half my week and leaves the rest of it for chilling (and otherwise preparing for postgrad applications, ugh, more on that another time). So... Despite the thin wallet, things have been swell :3

Met Hazel for coffee and a quick catch up before I went to feed the kitties I was pet sitting for.

Shopping with the boy in the evening after he knocked off.

And settled his craving for ramen.

The kitties I was sitting for were really shy, out of the 2, I only ever saw one - the other one was always in hiding when I arrived. This pretty kitty in question belonged to.. the neighbour, lol.

Work on Thursdays are usually pretty chill.

I only assist the classes so there's no stress on my part, they're an extremely well behaved class so it's always a pleasure <3

Had a good hair day.

Headed out to town to meet Yingsi, whom I haven't seen in more than 2 years!

We had some amazing Japanese food.

Close up of the chirashi which I don't usually order, this was pretty fantastic though.

Finally!

The kitty that I usually see during feeding time, this is him underneath a blanket :')

Met up with the bestie for cuddles <3

She got me this hat :3

We intended to visit Wine Connection but it was 8pm on a Friday night and the queue was insane. Settled for a japanese restaurant next door which seemed pretty quiet, and it did not disappoint. They had a nice range of kirin beer (which I don't fancy but is apparently really good) and really authentic Japanese food. The background chatter of Japanese patrons seem to prove that as well. I was just glad that the seats were comfortable, the AC was strong, and that it wasn't too noisy.

She gave me a belated birthday treat!

My qt came to join us for a drink as well!

I was so exhausted that I had to take a cab back home, but it was well worth it. Good nights are rare :3
