Sick Days

Here's a batch of photographs from the couple of days which I was holed up at home stuck in a daze of fatigue and medical drugs. Twice a day I also somehow dragged my aching body (with the help of either my dad or Sam) to feed the puppies which I was taking care of. It was a pretty surreal few days:

So the afternoon after I came home from my final training, I was feeling rather feverish and decided to cancel all my evenings plans and take to bed. Was feeling slightly jittery to have fallen sick just a week after coming back from Seoul, with the MERS situation and all - despite having read up on its literature and knowing that it was highly unlikely that I had contracted it. I got better by evening but woke up with a burning high fever at 6am - by then my mum was making me wear a mask etc and it was freaking me out. This sad plate of plain bread was the only thing I could force myself to eat, it was ghastly.

Fell in and out of sleep the entire day due to all the drowsy meds I was taking, this was one of the only warm bodies I saw that day. Happy Danny :')

The next day, my sister and mum were away so Sam came over to accompany me since it was the weekend and I was feeling lousy and bored at home.

He also came over to help me with the puppies who were still having diarrhoea and with TEEEEAMWORK, we, together with my dad, cleaned up all their mess.

Danny relaxed

Danny with his ears pricked up, hehe.

This was taking the following day when I was feeling all better and was heading out with the family for dinner to celebrate! It was also the last day I was puppy-sitting for these babies :')

We went for western food because I had a mad craving, especially after having chinese soup and porridge for the past 3 days.

It was glorious :')
