19th January 2016: Laneway

I'm usually not a huge fan of music festivals/concerts. There are a couple of bands/singers whom I like very much but I have never been a hardcore fan of any. In the last 10 years or so, I've never had any interest in exploring new music either so much of what I hear is on the radio. The only time I ever do any exploration is when friends recommend or send me new stuff. So..... Going to a music festival like Laneway is not my idea of fun at all, especially when it entails sitting in the sun for a large part of the day. Still, I went:

Started the day excited but in slight trepidation of the heat.

All the pictures we took were brightly lit which means that the sun was blazing mercilessly.

There were close to zero options for shade.

Lili prepping herself for the burn, hehe.

It was barely an hour in when the heat started to get intolerable.

Yay for food! It was the only thing I looked forward to the entire day-night, hahaha.

Queuing up for more food!

Dinner on a wet damp field. Experience from a non indie music lover - 4/10. Hahahahahaha, I am inclined to say never again. Paying upwards of a hundred bucks to burn in the sun is not my idea of a good time.
