Holland: Amsterdam - Utrecht

So the journey began:

Had a good 2 hours lounging in the departure hall with my lunchbox and laptop!

Up in the air! The weather was perfect for flying and it would've been a wonderful flight if it wasn't for an extremely creepy and annoying seat partner that I had the misfortune of having. He disturbed me during the entire flight, staring at me whilst I used my phone and saying strange things like, "I'm just waiting for you to be done so that we can chat." Later on he also suggested that we "keep in contact", errrrrr, no thank you.

The train transfer to Utrecht was smooth sailing, free wifi on the train as well!

And then I was off to look for the b&b that I was putting up at!

The streets were still so bright at around 8pm, hardly felt like night time at all.

Sunset around 8.30pm

The hallway/entrance to the "shed" I lived at, hahaha. I was a little unnerved looking at this corridor because it looked so much like a storage area. The door to the right leads to the common kitchen.

The kitchen wasn't very well-equipped, but I made do. It was actually pretty filthy as well, but thankfully I didn't have to spend a lot of time here. There were 5 bedrooms and 2 toilets in this area.

Just happy that my room was nice and clean! It was really spacious for one person and very comfortable, kinda made up for the lack of warm water (that really really sucked big time).

So Steven came over and we took a walk and made friends with kitties!

She was such a qt I wanted to bring her home! My first day went by pretty quickly because it was already evening by the time I got to Utrecht, it was a good start though! :D
