Holland: Utrecht II

So the first day, I got so preoccupied with walking around that I forgot to eat and nearly starved. So this morning I made an extra bun just in case!

Modern Family to accompany me while I eat :3

Door to the shed which I forgot to take!

Visited Steven's favourite bookstore!

Discovered a beautiful collection of Woolf.

Walked past this cathedral on the way to the Centraal Museum. It apparently has a museum inside as well, but I didn't have time to go in!

Seems that a lot of the cathedrals here have courtyards!

Constantly sporting parted bangs due to the wind, hahahaha.

Kodak shop! Couldn't take a proper picture because of the reflection caused my the sun, but it had amazing looking displays!

Finally found the Centraal Museum! It was pretty amazing, had about 11 exhibits with a diversity of topics - history, art, surrealism, film etc.

History of Utrecht

Surrealism

History again, this room was so amazing. The architecture was designed in a way that let the sun in at all corners, but it wasn't blinding because of the wood that allowed the light to bounce off.

It was such a beautiful day, especially compared to the first day when it drizzled a little.

Adorable kid and his grandpa heading to the Dick Bruna place.

I loved Miffy as a kid :3

A kind museum guard offered to take a picture for me after watching me struggle with selfie-taking, hahahahahahahahahaha. Embarrassing myself everywhere.

Spotted this kitty washing herself in a window when I was trudging back to town for lunch.
Utrecht's calm looking canal

Found an adorable little cafe, was so exhausted and hungry I just sat down and ordered.

Sadly, this toast and crabsticks cost me 13euros, crazily overpriced. Still, I was just glad to be able to rest, the weather was amazing so it was lovely to have a meal outdoors.

Beautiful flowers for sale in the centre of town! I didn't see any flower gardens though :<

In the heart of the city

We found a pop-up version of The Little Prince!

It also costs around 30-40euros I think, lol.

Walking back home for dinner and made friends with kitties as usual!

What a pretty kitty <3

Cute boys cooking dinner! :3

Two hamburgers, was so insanely full after this!

Ended my last night in Utrecht with a movie and grapes :3
