We went on a crazy long amazing race just to find our b&b in Paris. Smoothly transited from the airport shuttle to the metro but got off the wrong stop. When we finally found the right one, we walked for 15mins without finding the correct building. When we did, we were at the wrong door.. Finally, we were so so excited to find the key in the mail box (as arranged by the landlord), only to realise that none of the doors at our floor had numbers so we had no idea which was ours... Luckily, Sam realised that we were given 2 keys so... we starting attacking the doors with more than 1 lock, and.. TADA!!! :3
It was a tiny space but just right for the both of us, super comfy and cosy!
Compact but accessible kitchen.
Finally dragged ourselves out of the apartment after the extremely long morning/early afternoon of buses/flights/walking etc.
Weather was beautiful though slightly chilly.
Visited to National Museum of History, sadly it was mostly closed by that time. It was still very beautiful though, the open area was a huge garden so we spent some time strolling there.
We saw wallabies!
Kebab for dinner at Porte de Clignacourt!
We walked to the Eiffel Tower later on.
It never stops being magical to me.
Love when they turn on the sparkly lights
Finally leaving the Eiffel
To walk down the River Seine!
We watched these little ducks before deciding that we were going to freeze into human blocks of ice, so we left for our apartment. Crashed pretty quickly but it was such a lovely first day in my favourite city with my favourite person :3
